I'm not being a very good Buddhist right now,
Fallen victim to the system that keeps weighing my life down.
I'm working hard to build a life I'll live at my own pace.
I'm striving to make inner peace and quiet my home base.
Okay, why keep running when humanity's my race?
My head space is my place; stop filling it with due dates.
Too late, the clock is ticking; time is running out.
Externally I'm zombified; inside I'm crying out.
Why does the struggle have to define life?

So slow down and live this life with me.

The sun is out so why are we still inside
When we could be surfing on a fresh new riptide?
