Haven't made it yet, but Ima keep trying
Up late wide awake every night writing
Because I live for the poetry
And the music too, don't wanna sing the blues
Wanna spread good vibes, wanna spread my truth
Gonna spread my wings and fly until the heavens open up for me

Used to be so damn depressed, I couldn't even lift my head
Didn't see the point in even getting out of bed
Couldn't find a reason to exist where I was at
But then I found my lifestyle, focused on my craft
I chose the path of music, I pursue it every day
And I wouldn't wanna keep on living any other way
Ima keep pursuing it relentlessly until the day I die

Too depressed when I am back in my hometown
Cause I'm down with the sickness and it's bringing me down
Don't need your doubts, you're a cloud in my sky
And I'd rather go blind from looking sunlight in the eye
Spent so many nights here trying to visualize
What it would be like to live a meaningful life
Playing to a crowd of people cheering cause they care about me

Maybe I'll have to keep working Summers on the farm
But it's causing me harm, don't wanna set my alarm
Some day soon, I'm gonna tour the world
Spread my passion to the boys and girls
Wake up dormant minds, bring the lost souls peace
Provide everybody what music provided me
And I'm never gonna stop because this is my dream
